HF Welding & PVC Welding

High frequency (HF) welding — also called radio frequency or RF welding — bonds PVC and PU materials together using an electromagnetic field and pressure. The result is a clean, permanent weld that is as strong as the material itself, with no adhesives or solvents.

It is the core process behind most of our PVC presentation products. Because we weld in-house at our Artane factory, we can produce bespoke shapes, pockets and welded constructions to your exact specification — from a single prototype to full production runs.

Materials

HF welding works on polar thermoplastics — primarily PVC and PU films in a range of thicknesses, colours and finishes, including clear, frosted and tinted material. We can combine welding with screen printing, die cutting and encapsulation for complete finished products.
